Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business/Accounting intern to utilize business administration principles to perform data analysis, accounts payable/receivable work, assisting in journal entries, budgeting activities and other ad hoc business support.
Perform studies, projects and assignments of general scope and/or specifically assigned duties related to carrying out the functions of the department.
Assist in the preparation, analysis and interpretation of information and statistical reports as required.
Conduct special studies, analyses and investigations; record information and prepare graphic and interpretative illustrations.
Maintain departmental records and prepare statements and reports relating to operating activities; analyze and interpret such records and reports as directed by management.
Help maintain accurate financial records and databases.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct data analysis and assist with budgeting activities
Work with other personnel in the department and assist in the performance of their assignments.
Become familiar with Company organization, departmental functional responsibilities, and group interrelationships
Qualifications/ Minimum Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
