The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Labs Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Intern to join our Business Enablement team within Global Clinical Trial Operations. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact, predefined project that drives efficiency, improves user experiences, and modernizes our business processes. You will be assigned a specific business challenge and will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying a technology-based solution to solve it. This role is perfect for a student who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge tools like AI, low-code platforms, and programming to deliver tangible results in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the specific scope of your assigned project, your responsibilities may include a combination of the following:

  • Execute Assigned Project: Collaborate with subject matter experts to deeply understand the requirements, goals, and workflows of your specific project.
  • Develop Digital Solutions & Automations: Assist in designing and building solutions using tools relevant to your project, which may include Python, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), or AI/Copilot functionalities.
  • Process Optimization: Help streamline repetitive, time-consuming tasks (such as Excel-based data transformation or validation) by building robust automated tools.
  • Enhance User Experience: Contribute to projects aimed at transforming static documents into interactive digital experiences or intelligent support tools.
  • Project Delivery & Quality: Manage your assigned deliverables from requirement gathering to final handoff, ensuring solutions are reliable, well-documented, and user-friendly.
  • Present Findings: Prepare and present a summary of your project, its impact, and the value delivered to stakeholders and leadership at the end of the internship.

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming or scripting language (Python is strongly preferred) OR experience/strong interest in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform).
  • Familiarity with data manipulation, analysis, or process mapping.
  • Ability to work independently and manage an assigned project from concept to completion.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.); Ability to write effective prompts and iteratively refine them; Understanding of basic AI/ML concepts and terminology; Ability to use AI to analyze information, summarize content, generate code, or improve productivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Salary range

The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 USD.
