BBG Tech Center - Mechanical Engineering Intern

What you'll do

• Back up engineers as they transform boat concepts into manufacturable designs meeting all standards.
• Generate technical drawings and models for propulsion, fuel, water, and plumbing systems.
• Contribute to mold development and vendor specification documents for three major boat brands.
• Join testing and validation efforts for upcoming marine vessels.

What they're looking for

• Enrolled in a mechanical engineering or related bachelor's program.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite.
• Already eligible to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship.
• Preferred: completed at least two years of coursework, experience with CAD software (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Pro E), boating or marine sector familiarity.

Pay and perks

• $18.00–$27.00 hourly rate based on academic progress and relevant skills.
• Full-time role from May through August 2027 at Edgewater, FL location (hybrid arrangement).
• Up to 10% travel involved.
