AI/ML Engineer Intern

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions to improve engineering workflows and product reliability.
• Build agentic workflows, knowledge assistants, and RAG applications using engineering data.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for domain-specific tasks and mechanical design support.
• Develop data pipelines and model evaluation frameworks in a collaborative startup environment.

What they're looking for

• Current Bachelor’s or Master’s student in CS, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, and TypeScript with machine learning framework experience.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, and Git version control.
• Ability to work on-site five days a week in Sunnyvale, CA.
