AI & Data Science Intern - GPSU

What you'll do

• Define and run evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy and reliability of AI harnesses
• Design structured evals to detect regressions, output drift, and performance degradation
• Instrument harnesses with telemetry to capture latency, token usage, and error rates
• Build internal AI governance pipeline with standards, logging, and audit trails

What they're looking for

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field
• Python proficiency with experience in data manipulation libraries or LLM APIs
• Curiosity about large language models and agentic systems
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Eastern/Central time zone preferred

Pay and perks

• $20/hr for 12-week part-time remote internship
• 25-29 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Potential for full-time employment after internship
