What You Will Do
As an ABC News Intern you will gain experience and exposure to network level news research, editorial and operational coverage, and broadcast and digital production. Additionally, you will have access to industry-leading professionals, as well as development and mentorship opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Previous internship or on-campus involvement in journalism, news writing and/or television production
Experience with multi-tasking in a constantly evolving work environment, effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects
Experience working in collaborative environments, researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
Education
Undergraduate students in their junior/senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Broadcast Journalism, Communication or related major
Recruitment Timeline
The Spring 2027 ABC News Internship runs from January to June and includes multiple positions. Candidates who best match the requirements will be contacted directly.
Applicants will be updated throughout the selection process, with communication taking place between October and December.

Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 through early June 2027
Fully available to work 40 hours per week (hours and days to be determined by your supervisor and could include nights and/or weekends)
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York, New York area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in New York is $23.00 per hour.
