Key Accountabilities
- Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities.
- Conduct transaction monitoring investigations and review alerts related to potential money laundering, terrorist financing, drug trafficking, and other suspicious activities.
- Analyze customer activity to identify potential financial crime risks and support investigative efforts within the BSA/AML framework.
- Document investigative findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with financial crimes compliance standards.
- Assist Financial Intelligence Analysts and investigators with transaction monitoring reviews, research activities, and financial crime investigations.
- Complete research, reporting, and special projects that support the Financial Intelligence team and broader compliance objectives.
- Collaborate with Financial Intelligence Analysts, team leads, and leadership while participating in team meetings, training, and coaching opportunities.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Required
- Associate's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date; must not have graduated prior to internship start date.
Preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
