Location: Rensselaer, NY (Temple Lane)
Timeframe: Our Co-op positions are full-time and onsite from January-August (Spring-Summer), May/June-December (Summer-Fall), and August-December (Fall). This role typically runs from May through December only.
Pay: Intern and Co-op pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program. The hourly rate range for these locations is: $17.90-$25.50 per hour.
What you'll do
Support purification and raw material characterization methods used to isolate, concentrate, and de-risk biologic drug substances
Conduct filtration and separations studies to establish reusable filter lifetimes
Investigate opportunities to extend hold times for filtration equipment
Establish acceptable reuse limits for filtration membranes used in antibody concentration and purification
Study raw material risk factors, including nitrosamine clearance and formation
Support hands-on purification and filtration operations
Contribute to nitrosamine risk assessment development
Document results that directly support regulatory filings
